ROADBIKE
The [manuki mas] is a great hub to start your cycling adventures in the region. Either take round courses departing and returning directly to the villa, or shuttle by car to some other entry-points for more variety. The Costa Brava region offers courses for all tastes and training levels and offers a good infrastructure with bike shops for rental/repair, with coffee-stops and best of all, with breathtaking views of the wild coast and the mountains in the backcountry. We offer a set of our favorite courses on Komoot but there are also plenty of other tips out there on platforms like YouTube, Strava and others that feature highlights of the region. It is easy to stay away form main streets and hence have long stretches without being bothered by car traffic at all. The range of routes goes from cruises through apple, peach and pear orchards to training climbs of international Pros who settle in nearby Girona. Speaking of Girona: At a mere 40 minute drive by car, you will be able to do explore all routes of this area in addition to the Costa Brava which lays just in front of your doorsteps.

MOUNTAIN & EBIKE
If you are more into mountain biking, look no further. The [manuki mas] is situated right at the ridge of the Gavarres National Park which separates the Costa Brava shore line from the Girona back country. The Gavarres are a perfect terrain for mountain bikers with gravel paths and small boar trails that are only recognizable to the locals. The e-bike Boutique in Palafrugell rents high end bikes and offers guided grou tours as well as individually planned rounds for our clients. Discover the true gems of the wild coast by crossing over to Cap Roig along the cliffs of the shore or by following the trails of wild boar down from the Fitor peak a stonethrow away from the villa. If you opt to rent or bring an eBike you may even consider to cross the Gavarres all the way to Girona. You'll get to cross creeks, mountain passes and thick, jungle-like forest. This is true MTB terrain which invites for different adventures every day.
